Ripon Community House is situated behind the Workhouse Museum at the top of Allhallowgate very close to the city centre and the business community. Pay and display car parks are to be found nearby in Victoria Grove, and next to the Bus Station.
The building is attractively decorated and furnished throughout. Car parking for people with disabilities is available on site. Rooms can be hired either on a sessional or continuous basis. We will try to accommodate your requirements and make you and your colleagues feel as comfortable as possible.
Conference Facilities at
Ripon Community House
The Boardroom (178 sq. ft.), which is on the ground floor can be used as a cosy informal one to one meeting room, or as boardroom style for up to 12 people. We can also configure the room to your own requirements.
There are excellent conference facilities to cater for 2 to 70 people. The Conference Room (782 sq. ft.) is on the first floor. This room is most versatile for many user groups. There is a lift to the first floor.
Different settings for this room have been:
• completely cleared floor space for Pilates & Yoga classes
• theatre or cabaret style for 50 people
• boardroom style for 40 people
• theatre style with break out tables for small discussion groups
• we have even held a 3-course meal for 60 people
We are able to configure the rooms to your own requirements.
Full catering facilities are available, these range from simply tea & coffee at 75p +VAT, up to a full fork buffet, which consists of assorted sandwiches, with a selection of bite size nibbles, quiche, pate, rolls, smoked salmon, tortillas & dips, fruit basket and gateau at £6.50 + VAT per person.
You may wish to enjoy our 40 cover Tiffin's Cafe facilities instead. Tiffin's Cafe is situated on the ground floor of Community House, and has a wide and varied menu.
