External: Footpaths with varying gradients and surfaces.

Other: “This area is on two different sites – Fountains Abbey/ Studley royal and the Heritage/Visitor Centre. It is not possible to go from one site to the other by wheelchair or scooter. There is a four wheeled electric scooter for hire by prior arrangement and a mini-bus to take you from one centre to the other.
To access Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal from the Visitor Centre, you must drive down to the other car park half a mile away, or take the minibus. There is a manual wheelchair for hire at the Mill as it is not possible to access this area by scooter. As you enter Fountains Abbey, a map will be given out showing which areas are inaccessible by wheelchair or scooter. There is an excellent walk from Fountains Abbey to Studley Royal, which is on a tarmac surface. There is a small tea-room at Studley Royal entrance gate”
The Visitor Centre is well laid out and everywhere is accessible. There is a large restaurant at this site.
